Aloha Parents,

I just wanted to send everyone a reminder about upcoming events.

Sabbath Friday, August 30
This Friday is a sabbath Friday. Every month there is five Fridays in the month, we take the last Friday off as a sabbath. We encourage our students to hangout with their friends who don’t come to youth group in order to make it easier to invite them to youth group or camp later on.

St. Nick Fundraiser, August 31, 7:30am
I realize that all the information that has gone out says that we are starting the fundraiser at 7:00am, but we are actually starting at 7:30. We will be making chili, hot dogs, salads, and spam musubis as a service to those who are attending the HIM Mental Health Conference.

Please visit our website and sign up your child at youthfpchawaii.org/fundraiser. If you are interested in further ways to support the fundraiser, there is also a list of ingredients we are going to need.

This fundraiser is to support the Saint Nick Project, our yearly effort to bless the under privileged and houseless by making and delivering care packages in December.

September First Friday, September 6, 6:00pm
We will be having dinner at 6:00pm and then joining the church for the Worship and Vision Night. Pastor Dan will share the vision for the new adventure where we believe the Lord is leading us. After the worship and vision night, we’ll head back down to the youth room for some time to fellowship and hang out for our First Friday. Pick-up at 9:30pm.

Worship Team Meeting, September 8, 10:45am
For any students who are interested in being a part of the worship team but didn’t make it to our first worship team meeting, we are having another meeting on September 8, after the Sunday youth service. This meeting is mandatory for anyone who is currently on the team or interested in joining the team.

Please see the September Calendar that is HERE for other future events.

 Thanks,

Matt & Christian
